One cost that many forget to take into account is healthcare. A lifetime of eating healthy greatly reduces healthcare expenditures. According to some research I’ve seen, we’ve essentially traded healthcare dollars for food dollars. Meaning that we spend less on food over our lifetime, but we spend more on healthcare.
